about

Quite possibly our finest achievement as a band. A collaborative arrangement, a killer riff, and an excellent studio performance by the band.

NEIL: Vocally and lyrically I'm very proud of this track. Matt and I went back and forth about how many times we should repeat the riff within the song. Matt kept saying, 'don't kill the riff. leave 'em wanting more.' He was right. This song also marked a major shift in my guitar tones. Heavy distortion is not always the best option.

I love the way the bass and and guitar build at the bridge.

In the studio, we realized that I couldn't hit the desired note in the outro. (Typical.) What was a real bummer initially, turned out pretty cool with Jim stepping in to actually scream the line instead of the "whisper scream" we'd always joke about.

about

Lunatic Dreyfus Massachusetts

Honest, un-ironic rock with a sense of humor and purpose. Parallel Bars, Chef Diesel, Lunatic Dreyfus ...whatever--it's all about the music and the very few fans who like it. The songs are serious, but we're not.
